The Big Pacific Coast 

Lets’ Go Surfing surf school

See many of Australia’s ‘Big Things’ on the Pacific Coast Touring Route from Melbourne to Cairns. 10 day journey starts in Melbourne.  Melbourne is known for their tiny Penguins, wine and food.  Once you are acclimated to the time zone, you head off to Sydney home of the famous opera house, harbor bridge and Bondi beach.  For a little mountain air, explore the Blue Mountains. A visit to Cairns would not be complete without seeing the Great Barrier Reef. In this journey, you visit 3 big Pacific territories: Melbourne’s art scene, Sydney’s harbor beauty, and Cairns outdoor paradise of sand, reef and rainforests.

Sydney Rock & Reef  

The Sydney, Rock, Reef combination is a classic itinerary, offering a fantastic mixture of city, outback and coastal experiences in some of the most stunning parts of Australia. Cruise Sydney harbor, climb Sydney Harbor Bridge and enjoy an evening at the Opera house.  You are off to Alice Springs, a vibrant outback town.  It is famous for its colorful characters and relaxed atmosphere, you’ll enjoy the art galleries, Desert Park and the views from Anzac Hill. Then off to to Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in northern Queensland.

Adelaide & Kangaroo Island

Only 30 minutes from the city centre are the picturesque vineyards dotted on hillsides and valleys. Fly to Kangaroo Island, Australia’s third largest island and known for its abundance of wildlife.  Explore Seal Bay to encounter sea lions. Visit Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch in Flinders Chase National Park. Discover secluded beaches and try local products such as honey, sheep’s milk cheese and eucalyptus oil.

Discover North & South Island

You will begin your journey in New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland, before heading north to the culturally rich Bay of Islands. Then you will travel to Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty, a relaxed beach town. Taupo is next on the itinerary, followed a couple of nights in New Zealand’s wine country, Napier.

After tasting your way around Napier, you head to the South Island, to Nelson and the stunning Abel Tasman followed by a scenic train journey across the South Island to awe-inspiring Franz Josef Glacier. Then it’s off Queenstown, the mecca for active and adventure.  The adventure capital Queenstown, and beautiful neighboring Lake Wanaka and Milford Sound is where you will end your trip.

Fly and Drive New Zealand 

Enjoy a leisurely day exploring the Auckland or head out on the water and explore one of the islands on the Waitemata Harbour. Drive south to the rolling green hills and lush pastures of the Waikato region. Lake Taupō lakeside destination provides visitors with a base to explore the region’s many family friendly attractions and activities including hiking, mountain biking, geothermal parks and water sports. Rotorua has geothermal wonders as well as its sparkling lakes and lush native forests. It’s also the ideal place to discover the rich and fascinating culture of local Maori, New Zealand’s indigenous people. Surrounded by majestic mountains and nestled on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is New Zealand’s premier four season lake and alpine resort. Auckland and the South Island 

You will travel through extensive plains and deep gorges, past towering glaciers and lush, green rainforests, culminating in the Southern Lakes region with towering mountains and crystal clear lakes just waiting to be explored. Spend a leisurely couple of days exploring Auckland before you fly down to Christchurch, home to a compelling mix of elegant historical buildings and contemporary culture. Take the TranzAlpine train from Christchurch to Greymouth. There are many kilometres of temperate rainforest, wild coastlines, mountain ranges and deserted beaches.  The West Coast has native wildlife – from seals and penguins to wood pigeons, white herons and wekas.  Lake Wanaka’s spectacular location at the foot of the Southern Alps with Mt Aspiring National Park nearby makes it a magnet for outdoor lovers the world over. In winter, skiers flock to Wanaka from all over the world, but Wanaka is much more than a winter destination. Year round activities include fishing, hiking, canyoning, climbing and skydiving. The trip ends in Queenstown, New Zealand’s premier four season lake and alpine resort.

An adventure unlike any other. Raft downriver aboard a traditional bamboo vessel. Go outside your comfort zone and spend the night in a remote rainforest eco-lodge. Take to the city of Bangkok and see a unique view of Bangkok by bicycle, exploring backstreets seldom explored by travelers. Leave the bicycle behind and explore Bangkok’s vibrant Chinatown on a unique street-food tour. Head out of Bangkok and take in the mountain air by foot.  Trek into the mountainous North to meet little-visited tribal groups. End this active adventure by the sea to snorkel the azure water of the South from your own private boat.
