Tuscan Splendor

Home of the Renaissance, a period of European history, enchanting and irresistible Florence is a place to feast on world-class art and gourmet Tuscan cuisine. 6 day stay in Florence gives you just the right amount of time to experience the best of Tuscany.  Discover the Renaissance city of the Medici.  Florence is filled with sculptures such as Michelangelo’s David and paintings such as Botticelli’s Venus.  In this journey, you visit 3 medieval towns: San Gimignano with its skyline towers, the infamous Siena, the location of the Palio races and Monterggioni, a walled city surrounded by olive trees and vineyards.

Ancient Italy


A mix of ancient sights, awe-inspiring art and vibrant street life, Italy’s Eternal City is one of the most beautiful and exciting capitals. A 7 day exploration of Rome, Pompeii and Amalfi with almost 3000 years of mind boggling art, architecture and culture on display.  We take you to the ancient ruins of the Forum and Colosseum to witness the greatness of the Roman Empire. Home of the Roman Catholic Church to visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museum and examine Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel frescoes.  We continue the ancient theme down in Pompeii, known as sin city with a day in beautiful Amalfi.

Highlights of Italy Via Rail


Getting around Italy by train is the most popular way to travel through the country.  Revel in the magic of Italy on this 12 day journey to explore the cities of Milan, Florence and Rome.  Begin the journey in Milan where you visit il Duomo, Milan’s gothic cathedral and De Vinci’s Last Supper then journey down to the capital of Tuscany and visit the surrounding hilltop towns such as San Gimignano, Siena and Monterggioni.  Conclude the trip in Rome, the birthplace of the Roman Empire and the cathedrals of all cathedrals, St. Peter’s.  To round out the experience, you journey to the the Amalfi coast for a relaxing day.

Savor Sicily Via Car


Car lovers rejoice!  A 9 day self-drive exploring mosaics, ancient Greek ruins and the most active volcano in Italy, Mt. Etna.  Explore the cities and customs that make this island unforgettable.  You begin in historic UNESCO wonder of Catania to dabble your tastebuds at the Pascheria market.  At the foothills of Etna, you find the best made wines in the region.  As you head Westward, you explore the Valley of the Temples as you drive along huge elevated highways converging rugged mountains.  The last stop is in the city at the edge of Europe.  In Palermo, stroll through a bazaar and visit Gothic Palaces.
